Fulton County Schools’ exceptional 2024 Georgia Milestones test results are a true testament to academic excellence as students continue their path toward academic progress.

Exemplifying Fulton County Schools’ strong emphasis on high academic achievement, 2024 marked another banner year for students taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses. With more than ten thousand students participating in the AP program across 39 different subjects.

Azuloy Life, who joined the staff of Sandtown Middle School in 2020, was named the 2024-2025 Fulton County Schools (FCS) Teacher of the Year. “Ms. Life is completely dedicated to the students at Sandtown,” said Sandtown Principal Miranda Freeman.

The Fulton County Board of Education will meet on Thursday, September 19 at the FCS South Learning Center, 4025 Flat Shoals Road in Union City.

Each member of the Fulton County Board of Education sponsors a monthly meeting that is open to the public.

These meetings provide an opportunity for community members to have direct conversations with their elected board representative about local issues and concerns.

The Fulton County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, October 8 at the FCS North Learning Center, 450 Northridge Pkwy in Sandy Springs.
