Become a Dealer

The Colt Stocking Dealer Program has been established to help ensure the reputation of the Colt brand and its association with high quality and high performance firearms, by selecting dealers only from those who offer Colt customers a comfortable retail experience. The Program is also designed to ensure dealers have an incentive to invest resources into sales, customer service and the promotion of Colt products, and that Colt’s customers will have the ability to handle and to purchase the full range of Colt’s product offerings when they visit a firearms dealer.

Requirements

• Brick-and-Mortar Retail Storefront
• Open to the public with posted business hours
• Colt Stocking Dealers must stock a total of (5) Colt handguns, (3) Revolvers, and (1) Rifle, where laws allow:
  • Competition Model (Blue or Stainless)
  • (1) Gold Cup Model (National Match, GCL, or Trophy)
  • (1) Traditional O1911C (Blue or Stainless)
  • (2) Any other current handguns
  • (1) Combination of Cobra and/or King Cobra
  • (1) Python (6”, 4.25”, or 3”)
  • (1) Anaconda (6” or 8”)
  • (1) Any Colt Rifle Model
  • (1) MSR
  • (1) CBX

  As part of the Program, Colt has established an approved Stocking Dealer Roster that requires minimum inventory levels of Colt firearms. It is Colt’s policy to ship firearms only to distributors who deal exclusively with approved Colt Stocking Dealers. Please complete the form below to be considered for the Colt Stocking Dealer Program and for your store to be added to the Colt Stocking Dealer Roster.   Dealers participating in the Colt Stocking Dealer Program must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Dealers are reminded that Colt firearms may not be exported out of the United States without an approved license from the appropriate government authority (i.e., the U.S. Commerce Department for firearms subject to export controls under the Export Administration Regulations, or the U.S. State Department for firearms subject to export controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
